No, my friend. That’s not what the Bible teaches.

God is the Savior, not the hater. Jesus chose to go to the Cross Himself. He states it directly.

Jesus’ death doesn’t save us from God. God is not our enemy!

Jesus’ death saves us from the hell we built for ourselves. Every sin stores up wrath against ourselves, in the same way that every crime a criminal commits stores up the wrath of the justice system against him.

Jesus takes those crimes/sins on Himself and suffers the punished we earned. Justice is met, our debt is paid, our sins are forgiven.

Jesus did this willingly, enduring momentary pain to save those He loves.
