Jesus indeed has a physical body. God is Spirit, but He does have a physical body in Jesus. Given that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever, this is not a change for Jesus. It’s who He is.

God stated that He would make humanity in His image, then made us as spirits in physical bodies. Jesus is also a Spirit in a physical body. God indeed made us in His image.
