It’s true Caiaphas prophesied this.

It’s equally true they wanted to actively put Jesus to death.

Leaving out the Caiaphas quote doesn’t alter their hard hearts, wanting Jesus dead.

Yet let me be clear I have nothing against Jewish people, nor do I write to disparage them.

Jesus was a Jew. So were most of the authors of Scripture. I love them all.

I can celebrate these Jewish men who wrote the Bible, even as I despair over other Jewish men who chose to reject Jesus, the Jewish Messiah.
