I agree, my friend. There are a lot of unsaved people in the church. It is a great mission field!

There are a lot of shady or worldly tactics employed by a lot of churches. They miss Jesus for crowd-pleasing techniques.

But the seven letters in Revelation can at least encourage us that there is nothing new under the sun. Churches have always struggled with these issues. It isn't a modern situation; it's universal.

Yet even when we're astray, as Laodicea was, Jesus doesn't simply write us off. He reaches out, He gives us chances, He shows us what's broken so we can fix it.

The only question is whether we have ears to hear.
