Hello Notch, thanks for responding.

“The first paragraph of the article stands on its own as a persuasive argument against a Trinity.”
Not so, my friend.
The first article commits a number of logical fallacies.
Chief among them — it doesn’t deal with the title “The First and the Last” by itself, but sets it aside, and treats it as titles like “Lord.” It tries to argue that because SOME titles of God can be given to others, therefore ALL titles of God can be given to others, and because of that, “the First and the Last” doesn’t mean what it says.
Can you see the twists and illogic of all that?
God gives Himself the title “the First and the Last.” God does it to emphasize that He is the only God — aside from Him, there is no other.
It’s in the same sentence, my friend!
God establishes that He alone is God, there is no other, and as part of that, creates the title for Himself as “the First and the Last” precisely to prove that there is no one like Him.
There can only be one First.
There can only be one Last.
Your article ignores why God creates this title for Himself.
Your article pretends that this title doesn’t mean what it says.
The author is grasping at straws to try to find any excuse to deny Jesus as God, but only ends up revealing how desperate he is to avoid the conclusion he doesn’t want.
