Hello Rooooooosered, thanks for responding.

"You're taking someone writing something down as evidence it really 100 percent happened, as if no one has ever lied for the sake of their religious beliefs before."

No, that's not what we're doing, in this article.

I've written plenty of articles exploring the veracity of the biblical texts, arguing from the realms of history, philosophy, archaeology, and so forth.

But in this article, I'm assuming that foundation. If you want to go back and build it, simply click through my published articles a bit.

If we already have a confidence in the texts, and we see a passage that says 500+ people saw Jesus at once, where is that moment? Do we know who is there?

This article explores those questions by digging into the biblical passages.

You said:

"Particularly about men flying in the sky like you're expecting us to believe Narnia actually happened because they entered through a wardrobe in Britain."

I'm not sure what you're trying to get at with this comparison.

I'm not saying that you should believe a man flew through the air because Israel was real.

In this article, we're connecting the dots between various passages in Scripture, deepening our understanding of each.

You said:

"If this is your 'evidence' I'm more skeptical than I've ever been"

Again, this article isn't intended to present evidence for belief. It's intended to help us understand these particular Scripture passages better.

I've written plenty on the evidence for the truthfulness of the Scriptures. My article history is full of it.
