It's an interesting idea.

But there's no evidence for it.

There is zero -- and I mean zero -- historical or archaeological evidence for it.

If you disagree with me, it's a simple challenge: produce any historical or archaeological evidence to prove this. It will be a hard search, because there is none.

Comparatively, we do have evidence that John is the author.

As I cover in the article, every single bit of historical and archaeological evidence says that John the Apostle of Jesus is indeed the author.
