You're quite right that love is unreasonable! Love is grace. Love is a gift.

Unconditional love isn't rational. It doesn't depend on whether it's deserved. It is given graciously, regardless of reason or effort or worth.

Yet Jesus Himself is rational. Jesus identifies Himself as "the Way, the Truth, and the Life." Reason helps us find the truth in a world of conflicting claims.

Reason, when done rightly, leads us to Jesus.

The same Jesus who loves us graciously.
