Yes to both, my friend. in the article, I quote a summary from five ancient sources, all testifying to it.
This is not the census that occurred in AD 6-7. That was the second under Quirinius.
The registration that Luke refers to, and that is testified to in the article above, was the “first” under Quirinius, as Luke takes care to specify.
