Hello Yaholo,

Thanks for taking the time to respond, and to clarify your meaning. I think we're more on the same page than we realized at first.

I do not mean to express any idea of conspiracy, nor to paint scholars as a monolithic group. I'm well aware of the vast diversity of opinion among the body of global scholars on these topics.

I gave a singular example when I mentioned those who push the Gospels past 70 due to a rejection of the supernatural. Given that it was one example out of many possible, I never indicated that I suspect everyone of thinking this way.

Nor do I paint those who disagree with me as though they oppose God. When have I ever expressed such an idea?

All I've indicated is that the historical and archaeological evidence clearly points to the Gospels being written early. I would never suggest that people who disagree with are opposing God. I've learned far too much from those who disagree with me to support such a position.
