Question Series: “I curse God all the time. Will I be saved or sent to hell if I die?”
Before we answer this question, let me ask another: What do you want?
God grants you the freedom to choose. You possess the ability to accept or reject your destiny.
If you want to be with God, you can. Jesus opened the door to Heaven for you by paying your debt on the Cross. If you want to walk through that door and live with God forever, all you have to do is bow the knee to Jesus as your King, trust Him to save you, and begin following Him.
Or, if you want to be away from God forever, you can. If so, just continue to curse God and reject Him. You will receive what you’re choosing.
But the bigger question for you is this: why do you curse God?
I’ve spoken with many who reject God. So far, not one of them viewed God accurately. They thought they were rejecting God, but the person they rejected looked nothing like the God of the Bible. He looked more like the devil. Spookily close to the devil, in fact.
In these cases, I make it clear that I reject that god, as well. The god they hate is not the God who created them, loves them, and gave Himself up for them on the Cross. The god they hate is not the God who passionately yearns for them to embrace Him so that He can shower love upon them in open and joyful relationship. The god they hate is a deception, a mask worn by the devil to trick people into rejecting the God whose essence is pure…
