Do you want to know the answer to this question?

Do you really, truly want to know?

Would you want to know the answer even if it led to a conclusion you don’t want to reach? Do you care enough about truth to follow logic all the way to its end, even if it means you might have to change your view on the most crucial question in all existence?

If you’re willing, let’s go:

If God exists… then something else can exist.

If God does not exist… then nothing else can exist.

That might seem too bold a claim to make. It might seem that we’re reaching into realms we have no right to stake claims within.

But we’ll follow logic to each of these conclusions. And logic is a trusty guide, even to realms infinite and eternal.

Let’s head to infinity together.

Take any created thing in all existence — anything that began to exist. You could take planet Earth, the universe itself, your iPhone, or an idea hatching in your mind right now.

Then ask one simple question: where did that come from? It always came from something existing prior. So now shift your focus to that and ask the same question: where did that come from?

No matter where you start, this chain of questions always leads you back to one…
