There’s a lot of bad teaching swirling around about “original sin.” The Bible never says God committed sin, or that God caused the original sin. Neither does the Bible say that we are condemned for original sin.

The Bible’s focus is personal — what you do, and the consequences your actions have on yourself and those around you.

This is why Jesus and Paul summarize the Bible’s commands for us down to: “You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

How we treat each other is certainly real. It’s not only real to Christians, my friend. How we love each other is relevant to every person, every day.

Finally, you try to say these stories are “boring,” yet they caught your attention and prompted you to engage with a comment. Clearly, there’s something gripping about them.
