The Bible accounts for a lot more than 2 million, my friend.

But always ask: why?

God isn't wantonly killing random people.

God gives people more chances than we do. God told Abraham the Canaanites in the land weren't done yet, that God was still working with them. God had people like Melchizedek, a priest who knew the real God, working in the land. That's why God sent Abraham and his descendants to Egypt for generations: because He wasn't done working with the people in the land.

Only after they rejected God and devoted themselves to evil did God send Israel in to clean house. Only once they committed themselves to burning their children alive, and making that a cornerstone of their culture, did God remove them.

It's like this throughout Scripture. No death is random or baseless. God is dispensing justice, not cruelty.
